NOTICE: A wildfire on Darkwoods is limiting access into the conservation area. BC Wildfire Service has closed Porcupine Road. For now, Tye can still be accessed from Jersey Road from the south. This could change at any time.

Wildfire control and protection is the responsibility of the B.C. Wildfire Service, and NCC works closely with BCWS to monitor and manage any fire activity that occurs on NCC-held conservation lands.

  3. Carry a copy of the permit in your vehicle when you visit Darkwoods. Your permit is only considered valid if we have received the completed permit by email in advance and you have a copy in your vehicle.
