Summer Day Camp 2019

Manitoba Nature Education

Summer Day Camp 2019

The Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC's) Manitoba Region is proud to offer programs that are:

  • Unique nature-based interactive programs;
  • Available year-round across southern Manitoba; and
  • Linked to Manitoba science and social studies curriculum.

Programs may be tailored to meet the needs of individual classes and students. While in-school programs are free of charge, groups are responsible for their own transportation if they wish to participate in field-trip options.

Interactive presentations

NCC staff would love to visit your classroom to present on a variety of topics. We also love to pair our classroom presentations with a hand’s-on, nature-based activity!

Middle and high school special topics:

  • Healthy habitats
  • Pollination

Outdoor experiences

Take a walk with NCC staff to learn about biodiversity and nature conservation on a nearby nature trail, green space or your own schoolyard.

Possible themes include:

  • Nature in your neighbourhood
