Our Work

New Brunswick's wildlife and natural resources are at the heart of our province’s heritage and culture. With the help of our conservation partners, the Nature Conservancy of Canada works to keep ecologically sensitive areas of the province in their natural state. We do this not only for the species found here, but also for the communities that value these places and have a connection to the land. Nature brings us together, and together we can make a difference.

In New Brunswick, we focus our efforts on these key landscapes:

  • Acadian Peninsula
  • Bay of Fundy
  • Miramichi Watershed
  • Northumberland Strait
  • Wolastoq (St. John) River
  • Chignecto Isthmus
